Internat La Panne

WELCOME Your children will stay at the Flipper Centre, De Panne.

We offer young people and their parents the opportunity to visit the centre and its surroundings, as well as to meet the teachers and activity organisers who will do their utmost to make the course a real success.

According to the week and your children’s age, the holiday course will start on Saturday or Sunday between 14:30 and 15:30. You will be expected to collect your children on Saturday 10:00 and 11:00.

Children can choose between the following activities: horse riding / Creafun-Beach Adventure.

As soon as we receive your registration request, you will be sent a confirmation email including all practical information concerning the stay.

Complementary activities

Children can choose between the following activities:

  • Beach or horse riding (8-12 yrs)
  • Fun, aquafun, dance or horse riding (12-18 yrs)

8-12 years olds

In addition to sports, games and various workshops, we are going to Plopsaland! This children’s favourite will welcome the group for a fantastic day!

13-18 years olds

We are going to Aqua Fun Sunparks in Oostduinkerke for a refreshing afternoon! An exhilarating experience! Wave pool, water slides, etc... A relaxing time in the lido or on the outdoor terrace!

For the 8-12 years olds

8-9-year-olds have 3 lessons of 50 minutes per day. They go to bed round 21:00. 10-12 years olds have got some free time and extra activities between 21:00 and 21. They go to bed round 21:30.

Packing

Documents to provide on arrival

  • Filled Out Medical Form (lien à insérer).
  • For children under 12 years old: Kids ID card
  • For children over 12 years old: ID card.

What to bring

  • a sleeping bag, a bed sheet and a pillow case or two bed sheets and a pillow case,
  • spare underwear, toiletries, bath towels
  • warm clothes for cold days
  • sports clothes/kit, swimming costume and cap (optional)
  • a pair of indoor slippers
  • a pair of old shoes, that can get wet, to wear for water activities
  • sunscreen and a cap
  • anti-mosquito spray (repellent)
  • a disposable white workshop t-shirt
  • a small rucksack
  • a pencil case
  • a dictionary for the 13-18 years olds
  • a self-addressed stamped envelope (for the 8-12 years olds)

For the language course:

  • a pencil case
  • colouring pencils
  • a folder
  • scissors
  • a glue stick
  • a rubber
  • a dictionary for the 13-18 years olds

Horse Riding (10-18 years)

  • a pair of boots (NO ZIPPER)
  • a pair of long trousers (NO JEANS)
  • a horse riding helmet (The range can provide it too)

IMPORTANT those opting for horse-riding must bring their own bicycle and helmet. It is also possible to hire a bike on-site, the rental price is 20 euros for the duration of the course. Please book in advance using the space on the registration form.

Money and valuables

We ask the parents not to give their children too much money.

To avoid disrupting the good running of the day, the use of mobile phones is allowed at certain times only (in the evening, after dinner and before the activities) for the 13-18 years olds.For this reason, participants must hand in their mobile phones on arrival at the Flipper centre.

The use of mobile phones for the under 12 years olds is not allowed.

The organisers will not be held responsible for the damage or loss of any property owned by the participants.

Rules of the Centre

To ensure the quality of our courses and a relaxed holiday atmosphere, we ask each participant to be respectful towards others such as peers, teachers, leaders and all camp staff.

Drinking alcohol and carrying/using any legal or illegal drugs, except for authorized medical drugs is strictly prohibited.

Smoking under the age of 16 is strictly prohibited. For the 16 and over, parents must provide an authorization letter to the attention of the camp leader. Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited.

Intaco reserve the right to exclude or expel a student who does not respect the school rules. Intaco and Kiddy & Junior Classes do not allow refunds in this event.

If the participant must leave before the end of the week, the parent or the person in charge must contact the organisers and inform them of the day and time of the child’s departure. The child’s carer will then meet the centre organisers in person before the participant’s departure.
