Nieuwpoort Stays

Your children will spend one week in a Flemish and Dutch-speaking holiday camp (without any language classes).

They will be introduced to sports by qualified instructors: windsurfing, surfing and water sports, climbing and beach games, Expedition Coast: seaside adventure (trekking and camping).

This stay is full board only: from Sunday 18:00 to Friday 17:00 (for Expedition Coast, arrival on Sunday at 17:00).

As soon as we receive your registration request, you will be sent a confirmation email including all practical information concerning the stay.

Site Organisation

Children from all courses will sleep at Kraaienest.

What you need to bring

  • A sleeping bag, a bed sheet and a pillow case or two bed sheets and a pillow case.
  • Underwear
  • Toiletries, bath towels
  • Clothes and shoes to keep dry
  • Sportswear
  • Sports shoes
  • Swimwear and surf shoes (optional). Surfing clothes will be provided.
  • A rucksack, a lunch box and a canteen (bottle)
  • A cap or a hat, sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Surf certificate and learner’s booklet in case of previous experience.

Participants must bring their bikes and helmets for the trips. It is possible to rent bikes and all related equipment for €25.00/week.

In this case, you are required to book your equipment directly in the registration form.

Money and valuables

We ask the parents not to give their children too much money. We recommend €25 to buy stamps or optional food and drinks.

Items such as mp3 players, game consoles, and mobile phones will not be very useful during the stay so we advise participants to leave them at home. We strongly advise all participants not to any bring valuable items.

The organisers will not be held responsible for the damage or loss of any property owned by the participants.
