Course Activities at Stoumont

Children can choose between the following activities:

  • Sport-adventure
  • Horse riding

Some activities are organised for all participants:

  • A day in Spa: Spa market & walking tour & language course in Spa
  • A day at Forestia Animal Park: park visit with the language teacher & language course in a picnic area

In case of heatwave, some activities can be replaced by a refreshing day at a pool.

Schedule at Stoumont

We welcome your children from Sunday to Saturday at Centre Horizon Nature.

  • Residential: from Sunday 15:00 to Saturday 11:00 (no lunch on Saturday).
  • Non-residential: from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:30 (reception from 8:15)

Every day, they will benefit from a combination of 3 hrs language class + 3 hrs activity to choose: horse riding or sport-adventure or football.

As soon as we receive your registration request, you will be sent a confirmation email including all practical information concerning the stay.

For the language course

  • A4 paper sheets

  • a white glue stick, cello tape
  • red and blue biro pens

For the football activity

  • No shoes with studs! (artificial pitch)
  • Sportswear/dress for messy!

For the sport-adventure activity

  • a helmet (also available on-site)
  • boots (regular or Wellies)

Money and valuables

We ask the parents not to give their children too much money. We recommend €25 to buy stamps or optional food and drinks. Personal food and drinks card are available on-site, €7 for 10 items. On sale the first day of the stay. Items such as mp3 players, game consoles, and mobile phones will not be very useful during the stay so we advise participants to leave them at home. We strongly advise all participants not to any bring valuable items. Bedrooms are unlocked. At the beginning of the stay, the manager of the centre will collect all participants’ wallets and mobile phones. They will regularly retrieve their valuables during their free time.The organisers will not be held responsible for the damage or loss of any property owned by the participants.


To ensure the quality of our courses and a relaxed holiday atmosphere, we ask each participant to be respectful towards others such as peers, teachers, leaders and all camp staff.

Smoking under the age of 16 is strictly prohibited.For the 16 and over, parents must provide an authorization letter to the attention of the camp leader. Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited and only allowed at specific times (before meals, bedtime, etc.)

Drinking alcohol and carrying/using any legal or illegal drugs, except for authorized medical drugs is strictly prohibited.
